BKK Day 1

Yes, here's the oh-so-excited BKK trip post! ^^

Gary and I booked our land package at the NATAS Fair back in Feb with Five Star Tours. It was a free and easy package, just hotel and land transfer. We initially booked P2 Boutique cos we wanted to save some money for shopping instead. But when I went home to do research, I totally regret! It's really like some bangala hostel lor, not that I am very picky or what, but no toothbrush even?! So in March, I emailed Five Star Tours and made a trip down to CHANGE MY HOTEL. I picked Glow Pratunam Hotel this time round after reading all the good reviews on TripAdvisor. It's rather pricey tho, with the cancellation charge and all, but I definitely can't put up with P2 Boutique. I know Gary definitely share the same sentiments.

Ok so much of my background information. Now the real deal!

Our flight was at 10.55am, means we have to reach airport around 9am or earlier to check in. But I was sick :( Ultimate sway. We took our luggage and went to Vista Point, hoping to get some medicines but the doctors were all late! We didn't have time to wait so just decided to go to the airport. Spent a bomb at Raffles Medical in the end.

Nevertheless, it still didn't dampen my mood for BKK!

AirAsia Menu! We didn't order any flight meals online because we gonna have lunch at BKK anyway! Actually should order, it's quite torturing seeing the person next to you eat and you can't have any T_T

Arrived at DMK airport!! Took a transfer to the hotel, approx 20 mins :D

Changed up quickly and started our trip! Had a bite downstairs at the Mcdonalds before we head to Platinum Mall! It is only an overhead bridge away!!! :)

Did alot of shopping at the mall, seriously, cannot finish in one day one. We shop till 6.30pm cos thats when all the shops closes, which is pretty early? Got scam on my first loot. Saw this makeup store selling dollywink stuff so I went to check out the price. A dollywink mascara + eyebrow mascara total up SGD 23 OF COURSE I BUY. I ask the person whether it is the authentic one and she said yes! In the end I try during the 2nd/3rd day, will smudge one lor... -_- Abit sian diao..

Nevertheless, I manage to get ALOT of cheap loots.

And my favourite buy of the day! THIS FLORAL JUMPSUIT!!! :D I bought it at wholesale price (bought another 2 other designs)

And this handbag that Gary bought for me at Grand Diamond Plaza!!! :D Looks very elegant right!!!
But quite exp, 1000 baht. I guess for the good quality it is reasonable?

Went over to Jeremy and Hansel (Gary's army friend) 's hotel at night before we head out tgt!
Got this throat spray at Foodland supermarket cos I was sick and having a throat infection.

We cabbed to NANA together (didn't take any pictures) but it was certainly an eye-opener for Gary and I!
Went into this Thai pub where there are a lot of girls (real females) wearing just bra and G-string dancing on the stage. Hahaha, I think I enjoyed myself quite a bit, looking at pretty girls. Gary was so shy and 90% he was just looking at the mirror reflection cos he don't dare to look at them straight. Nonsense boy.

Actually I was quite interested to watch the ladyboys too tho, but the guys didn't want to HAHAHA.
Met up with one of Hansel's friend and went to hunt for supper around 1am. We cabbed to this HK restaurant at Siam area.

This porridge is a boo from me tho.

Gary and I went back to our hotel cos we were dead beat! & I had to run a high fever that night...
