Hi guys! Let me backtrack abit to my Hong Kong trip which just ended a week ago!
Headed to HK with Garyboy and his parents and grandma on 27 Nov via Scoot.
It was our first time on Scoot and we got the tickets at a cheaper price as there were promo going on then!
I also upgraded our seats from Standard Economy Class Seats to Super Seats for more comfort.
Am so glad we did because the leg room for Super Seats was so much wider than the normal blue seats!
Anyway, our flight was at 1am so it was quite a shag flight for us :/
Landed at 5am in the morning, all sleepy and tired.
Took the airport express train to Olympic Station and almost froze to death while waiting for the man to settle the mobile stuff! The wind blow ah blow ah until I totally can't feel my limbs anymore!
Had a hard time afterwards searching for our hotel and luckily we 出门遇贵人!
Got a passerby uncle volunteered to bring us to our hotel >< Damn touched!
Initially I thought he going to rob us or something but miracle happened.
We stayed at Dorsett Mongkok for our trip and once you find the hotel, it's not hard to figure out the way through the neighbourhood anymore.
Had our breakfast at a nearby porridge shop and it was so good that we went back for more on other day!
I didn't quite like my porridge tho cos it had so much ginger and the fish got bone which made me really frustrated towards the end LOL.
Anyway long story cut short. We basically went back to the hotel once it was ready to check in and zonk out till noon LOL. Super tired omg I swear I am not gonna take midnight flights anymore.
The hotel room was super small btw and the toilet also :/
But it was quite cosy, surprisingly. And for two of us & the standard of hongkong, I guess it was pretty alright.
Had lunch with everyone and also his Hong Kong aunty, at a nearby char chan teng.
The first teh that I drank in Hong Kong, and it is.... not nice. MEH.
It taste totally different from what we have in Singapore. & you have to add sugar yourself.
In the afternoon, we basically walked the Agryle Street and wander around.
This is super yummy >< 許留山Hui Lau Shan
You will never miss this dessert place in Hong Kong cause it's everywhere.
We visited the Avenue of Stars in the evening and it was mad coldddddd.
Surviving in my romper. & the auntie beside just had to spoil our picture -.-
The night ended with some takeaway dim sum from opposite the hotel and sleep!
