*Time to sit down and blog about my new debt*

Gary applied for the Kallang/Whampoa BTO on my birthday in Sep and only told me after he applied. (Walao eh this boy never discuss one!)

Actually we tried for previous 2 times (Hougang & Toa Payoh) but was unsuccessful so I am already in the half give up mood and reluctant to waste another $10 admin fee lol.

I was really excited when we got a queue number for it!

We were pretty behind the queue because priority are given to those with children and are married I think. Our queue number was 5xx out of the 4xx 4-room flats which is already out of range but still hopeful because there are usually about 10%-20% drop out rate.

I really love the location and surroundings! Went down once to recce the place and I really love how accessible and quiet it is! :) Good place comes with a high price, welcome to Singapore.

The 4-room flat in average cost about 500K and above and it's really expensive considering that we are still young and don't have much cash. Don't say 500K ok, 50K also bo -_- but after much calculation, it seems like we should be able to afford with our CPF and all, so we decided to go for it!

Just one month before the selection of flat, I was informed that Gary was leaving for Pensacola for a good 2 years. (Why RSAF always do this to me D: )

Given such short period, there was so much admin stuff to settle before he leaves.

My to-do-list grew:

1. Go to the lawyer firm to sign the Power of Attorney (PoA) cause he won't be around to sign the housing agreement and he needs to authorise me legally to do everything for him

2. Go to CMPB to get certified copy of his pink NRIC

3. Get all his payslips and CPF statement ready for the application of grants/loans

4. Get his signature for all the forms and what not.

Shortly after he left the country, it was our turn to select the flat.

I went down alone, super scared because I have absolutely no idea about everything.

 I was so stressed up when the officer ask me to decide this decide that. 

And she kept telling me all the figures and money I have to pay for the rest of my 25 years time D:

So I was like okay, okay, okay JUST TAKE MY MONEY!

And WE GOT OUR HOUSE!

Manage to snap up the 14th storey unit even though there wasn't much choices left already!
Super super happy!!!!!

I already cannot wait for my houseeeeeee.
