Taipei Short Trip Part 2

Continued from Part 1 

Checked in to Via Hotel. As mentioned, the weekend was a super peak period and we booked very last minute so most of the hotels are fully booked :(

We had to stagger our stays since they don't have the whole period available.

Via Hotel is stationed at a corner of Xi Men Ding, at level 2.

Small and cosy. They have hot drinks and snacks at the lobby at the area that you can help yourself to anytime! (:

The room was quite spacious too! AND THE BED. MY GOD. SO COMFY.

We only stayed for one night before we return to South Island home stay and couldn't bear to leave haha!

But price wise, it was pretty costly. Over $100 for a night. Almost the cost for 3 nights at the home stay.

Changed up and headed to Shilin Night Market! We took the train there, pretty easy!

We got so excited cause there were so many street food and games hahaha!

We got attracted to the major long queue for the "big intestine wrap small intestine" LOL. So we queued about 15-20 mins for this.

End up. Nah, not very nice what. Wasted my time -_- Can't appreciate what's the hype about.

Meanwhile Gary bought us some fried sotong. SUPER NICE.

But the seasoning was abit salty so I think it's very unhealthy LOL but YOLO.

Nothing much, just won a lighting ring from a street game LOL.

Tried  zhu xie gao (pig's blood) for the first time in my life o.o

Actually, it's not as gross as I thought. But still, errrr I don't really like the texture of it.

The boy's favourite game. Oh, he also like the gun shoot balloons one. LOL.
It's all over night markets, I think we spent most of our money there -_-
Headed back to our hotel and we were so dead beat after so much of walking the whole day!
